The jewelry piece is made of thin layers of maple wood veneer placed under pressure to destroy the structure of wood and give the jewelry a fragile texture and, then, bent following a specific process to achieve the shape desired. 

A testament to the unyielding power of the female spirit. Through form, texture and vibrant color, I aim to capture the essence of Kahlo's inner strength and resilience, as well as her deep connection to her own vulnerability. This tension between strength and fragility, echoing the contradictions that defined Kahlo's life.
